Vintage ERTL diecast Giant Ford 755 Tractor/Loader/Backhoe; used

Description

This approximately 40 year old vintage Blueprint Replica "tru-scale" model of the Ford 755 tractor/loader/backhoe appears not have been used nor played with (especially looking at its tires).  The open-front box is clearly old and obviously not in good condition - some places torn or bent.  The box is about 30" long, and the model in the box weighs about 8.5#.  It's an interesting old model, and importantly, all mechanisms that are supposed to be operative, are.  There are a number of places where the paint has flaked off.  I see no rust except a spot at the bottom of the steering column (photo 7).  This model was manufactured by ERTL during the years 1979-84 (later
modifications became 755A and 755B)
and carries the ERTL # 820, which is cast underneath the bucket (barely visible in the 8th photo).  As well the number 7611 is cast underneath, its significance unknown to me.
The scale is not noted on the box nor on the model itself; other sources identify the scale as 1:12.
Except for needing some paint restoration, this model - made in the USA - is in very good working condition and appearance.  Recommended for folks age 3 and older.
