PRE WWI 1886 PORTUGESE/PORTUGAL BAYONET ( with original scabbard)

Description

Its great antique bayonet. This bayonet was made in 1886 in Portugal. This bayonet model M1885 for GUEDES/KROPATSHEK rifle. Bayonet is used but in good condition. Bayonet size is 23 1/2 inches or 60cm. Bayonet blade length is 18 1/2 inches or 47 cm. Blade is in very good condition. One side of blade has a mark (see picture). Top of the blade has same sign with year manufacture 1886. Bayonet has a metal guard. One side of guard has a number "374" other side guard has same mark as on blade. Bayonet has wooden handles that has metal part. The metal part has button for connection with rifle that is working very well. Bayonet has original metal scabbard one side of scabbard has same marking as bayonet "374." This bayonet is not only weapon but a part of military history.
