    Original 1872 U.S. CAVALRY SABER BELT
    Item Description
    M1872 U.S. Cavalry Saber Belt for the brace system.  This brace system was adopted to better support weight of the equipment.  Some crazing, but leather is supple.  They were marked on chape near belt plate in two sizes No. 1 or No. 2.  This is Number 2.
