    Description

    This is a Very Unusual US Army or Militia Uniform Frock Coat displaying a virtual Blizzard Of Gold Bullion.
    Likely dates from the 1880 through 1900 Era.
    It has a Matching set of Staff Buttons with "'Scovill Mf'g Co * Waterbury" backmark.
    Missing two buttons for Rear Bottom.  Easily replaced.
    The uniform was made by B.M. Whitlock, 99-101 4th Ave, NYC.
    Note that the Civil War Era Militia Epaulettes DO NOT GO with this sale and are simply for show purposes.

    This is a very unusual variant and is a wonderful addition to an US Indian War Era Uniform Collection.
