ONE REALLY NICE LAST-GEN GTO!
I bought this GTO over 9 years ago to be a “companion” to my 1972 GTO (since sold) and have babied this ‘06 since.
I’ve had it on the Power Tour twice and have enjoyed every minute of ownership.
Time to go to a new owner.
I made a few changes to the original:
Added an aftermarket radio, upgraded wheels and tires, added coilovers, replaced the lame rubbery OEM unit to a short-throw unit and installed clear paint protection (upgraded recently to the more durable product) to the front of the car.
The former owner installed a cold air induction and an aftermarket sunroof.
The car is rust-free.
It came from a salt-free area of the country.
I have always kept it in my conditioned garage when not in use.
Everything works.
I have the original wheels, shifter and radio. They go with the car if a buyer wants them.
Except for a few minor scratches – one shown in a photo, and curb rash on one wheel (see photo), the car has no dents or bodywork.
I use a multi-step cleaning process to preserve the paint (wash, clay bar, polish and paste wax).
The red/red combination is a head-turner.
I have every maintenance receipt and have recorded every gallon of gas since I purchased the car.
